City of Crikvenica is situated in in the Kvarner gulf, and it is part of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar county, whose center is in Rijeka about thirty kilometers from the town. The whole town of Crikvenica is in fact a riviera with a row of connected small tourist resorts: Crikvenica, Dramalj, Selce and Jadranovo. It stretches over thirty square kilometers of land and waters of Vinodol channel. Excellent geographical position and good transport links are just some of the prerequisites for fostering centennial tourist tradition on the Crikvenica Riviera, which can be reached by road in one day from Central Europe or Alpine region. Besides the road, Crikvenica can be reached by sea or by air. Boaters can berth for boats and yachts in the city harbor or in nearby marina in Punat. Airport is just twenty kilometers away on the island of Krk.
